Sit down, stay a while
Woody's is a friendly family taverna with a long menu of Greek and international dishes, made from local produce. The day starts with a proper breakfast, English or continental, from nine in the morning.
Light snacks carry the afternoon: toasties, baguettes, omelettes and club sandwiches, all with chips. In the evening the kitchen turns to souvlaki off the grill, kleftiko from the oven, fresh fish and steaks.
And if all you want is a cocktail by the sea, that is a perfectly good reason to sit down too.

Sit back, relax, enjoy the view
The terrace faces the water at Acharavi, looking across to the mountains on the other side of the channel. It is a good place to lose an afternoon.
Around six the light goes gold and the bar gets busy. Around eight the grill does. Neither is in any hurry.
